Accession Number (Case-ID) psr-dataelement-50 Identifier <id root="1.3.6.1.4.1.19376.1.8.9.9" extension="A7102400008"/> This is the ID for the case, known also as "Accession number", i.e. all specimen sent at the same time from the ordering provider to the pathology lab. There this ID is issued by the Order filler, corresponding with the Order filler ID. If more than one specimen from the same patient is sent at once by the clinician under the Placer group ID, then this Placer group ID corresponds with the Accession number!
