IHE Cardiac Telemonitoring Profiles
Description

Telemonitoring for cardiac insufficiency and arrhythmia using IHE profiles

The project aims to specify how IHE profiles can be used to improve data sharing between healthcare providers treating cardiac insufficieny and arrhythmia. The implantable devices regularly used in the treatment of these conditions are sophisticated tools which provide a significant source of digitally recorded personal health information. The project specifies how to use existing IHE integration profiles to connect the information systems of the collaborating healthcare providers and device vendors/service providers. One of the tasks of the project is to identify missing IHE profiles and provide specification drafts that can be entered into the IHE profiling process.

The proposed "Electrophysiology Report Content - Follow-up" (EPRC-FU) profile is defined as a IHE content profile for the IHE Cardiology domain. It is based on the current IHE Cardiology Technical Framework Supplement "Electrophysiology Implant/Explant Report Content" (EPRC-IE).
