- The LOINC code used here signifies a document, not a section. Furthermore, it asks for specification of {setting} and {Author Type}. Not sure if this is appropriate code here.
- Check for alternative, possibly request new code from LOINC
- While the section spec clearly restricts the scope to past surgical procedures, the entry template does not reflect this. Possibly, the value set acceptable in this instance introduces that restriction, but I can't check that.
- Maybe, the entry should be a specialization of Procedure Entry, only allowing for past surgical procedures (affects mmodCode and binding to value set)
- The spec states "In case no procedures are expected to be recorded, a single “NA” nullFlavored procedure entry shall be included in this section." This is an important statement, it justifies the cardinality of 1..1.
- Add this explanation to the section description.
Relation Specialization points to non-existent template 1.3.6.1.4.1.19376.1.5.3.1.3.11 (IHE List of Surgeries Section)
add code to explain where this template can be found
The text version has a footnote: "As there is subjectivity in the term ‘relevant’, the date of the procedure will be used as to delineate. As the date can be seen from the procedure, the two have the same expression. It is up to the implementers of the system to display it in a different way."
