Een zwelling met vocht die na de operatie kan ontstaan. Uit de operatiewond komt vocht, dat is normaal. In de eerste dagen na de operatie voert een drain (slangetje) het operatievocht af. Vaak wordt het vocht vanzelf minder. Maar soms ontstaat er een zwelling met vocht. Dan kan het nodig zijn om het vocht weg te zuigen met een punctie.
