Assignment 2021-02-17 21:53:49 : Assigned To Pero Grgic by Quentin Ligier
Tracking / Status = Open 2021-02-17 21:53:48 : Tracking by Quentin Ligier
Description
All brackets that were present have disappear from the codes: tbs_m, 10*6.iU, PPM, CFU, iU, tsp_m

I've been unable to find the code U{PIECE(S)} anywhere.

The code umol has an error in its display name, it should be "micromole" (the final "e" is missing).

The second should be s, not S (Siemens).
The minute should be min, not MIN.
The hour should be h, not HR.
The day should be d, not D.
Parts per million should be [ppm], not PPM.

U is not unit but enzyme unit (that could be very confusing). 10*3.U and 10*6.U are also wrong.

I've not found the code kJ in any other value set or in the search service but it seems to be valid, k and J being defined as prefix and unit.
Change Request Status = Closed ( chdachpharm-issue-33 ): Package coded with SNOMED CT instead of UCUM?

Description
additional issue for UCUM value set
Tracking / Status = Open 2021-04-12 13:01:40 : Tracking by Oliver Egger
Description
Finding:

code {Package} does not look like a real UCUM code, could a SNOME CT code be used instead?

Suggestion:

Use  Package - unit of product usage (qualifier value)

SCTID: 1681000175101

1681000175101 | Package - unit of product usage (qualifier value) |

Change Request Status = Closed ( chdachpharm-issue-63 ): Split the UnitCode value set

Description
Value sets  RegularUnitCodeAmbu  and  TimeUnitCodeAmbu  created in CDA-CH-EMED for the use of the aggregator only. Templates are not modified to use them. They are used for documentation and code generation.
Tracking / Status = Open 2022-02-10 11:50:11 : Tracking by Patrick Jolo
Description
After internal discussion:
The ValueSet should not be adjusted as it is linked to FHIR. If the ValueSet was implemented by someone, this would have to be adjusted for all.

A change would have to be discussed in a larger discussion.

If ok I close the issue

Description
These units are used to described different values that have different usages and are incompatible with each others:
  • Dose quantity: this should exclude time units and some others (e.g. Becquerel).
  • Rate quantity: this should contain only time units.
  • Packaging capacity: probably the same unit set as doseQuantity.
  • Ingredient quantity numerator: not sure, possibly the same unit set as doseQuantity.
  • Ingredient quantity denominator: not sure.
We should split this value set to better support the intended use-cases and prevent using invalid units.
Only the doseQuantity element is supported for sure, it may not be worth to adapt value sets for others right now. I can make a value set proposition for doseQuantity.

Assignment 2022-07-14 14:33:55 : Assigned To Patrick Jolo by Quentin Ligier
Description
{Unit} can also apply to pretty much all the SNOMED CT codes here, adding  413568008 | Application would allow having an explicit code for cream applications. That would be the most coherent.
Assignment 2022-06-09 12:04:10 : Assigned To Quentin Ligier by Patrick Jolo
Description
The SNOMED code would be the right approach, but it does not solve the problem with the uint.
So the general code {Unit} can be used from my point of view.
Tracking / Status = Open 2022-06-08 14:51:05 : Tracking by Quentin Ligier
Description
What would be the correct unit for a cream application?  {Unit} and  {Dose} are not exactly relevant, and the quantity is generally not given, excluding g and mL .
Since we've added SNOMED CT codes,  413568008 | Application - unit of product usage (qualifier value) could be a good match for that.
